I have been here many times over the years and the management staff are rotten for not sharing the recipes she concocted , All kidding aside. A good experience and and the staff are phenomenal . You'll get someone asking for cigarettes but the are not aggressive, I'll keep coming back as long as that lovely family stays behind the desk. Shuck i would love to cook them a meal
Rm 340..i rented a smoking room, there was no ashtray, office found one & brought to room. bed was great, ac worked. Half of the window wasn't covered.. drapes didn't cover the whole window. Shower had good pressure, the stairs wasn't reachable through parking lot, you have to go through the flower bed to other side on the sidewalk to access stairs.
Customer service was great. Very nice amd quiet place to go to if your trying to get away from people.
Great place for the price. Also offers weekly rates. Owners are very nice. Downside, not updated in awhile so expect a few blemishes. Upside, a wonderful location that's within walking distance of several shopping centers & restaurants. Bonus.. Next door to Waffle House and a Applebee's & grocery store across the street.
Older Motel, but everything was clean, comfortable and quiet. Does not have some of the amenities the big chains do, but very freindly and pleasant. Didn't jack their prices up for a big UVA weekend like some of the others do. Will stay again!
A very good place to stay for the money! Clean rooms with no odor, the plumbing works perfectly. Great service at the front desk.
I think its a great place for the money! Some people are way to picky they have a pocket full of wants and a hand full of give me! If you want a 500.00 room go get one. If you want a comfortable room and rest! This place is great and reasonably priced! The owners are nice people! I give them a 5 star!
Stayed there for 1 night after a concert. My usual go to hotels were not available. I paid $111 for the night and had to check out by 11 am. The room was ok but sparse it did have a fridge and microwave. I did see 1 roach, killed it and didn't see any others. Checked the bed for bed bugs and didn't find any. The shower had great pressure and IMO the temperature was very well regulated. Although this would not be my first choice for accommodations at this price, it will do in a pinch.
Was great for the price beds were made daily fresh towels every day all and all better than some of the more expensive hotels I've been in
Decent place for the price. Water was hot. AC was cold. Bed was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room even had a microwave and a mini fridge. It's pretty basic, but it definitely gets the job done. Edit to add that 5th star. Ended up having to stay extended. Staff was over the top welcoming, and made my time here amazing. I don't know if I'll even get back to Charlottesville, but if I do, I'll definitely stop in again.
